Chris and Rosie Ramsey to host new BBC comedy series after podcast success

My Celebrity Life –

They’ve conquered the world of podcasts, and now Chris and Rosie Ramsey are set to host a new comedy series on BBC Two and iPlayer.

The pair are known for their award-winning podcast Sh**ged.Married.Annoyed, and they’re now taking things up a notch with The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show on TV in 2022.

The six-part series will follow the refreshingly honest pair as they’re joined by celebrity couples, talking about everything from growing up to relationships and parenting.

Fans can expect the pair to poke plenty of fun at each other, as they promise ‘late night laughs’ on the new programme.

Chris said about the new TV series: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to have a show on the BBC, slightly annoyed that my years and years hard graft and solo work did nothing to achieve me this, but the moment I get my wife involved, it happens. But hey ho, you take what you can get.’

Rosie added: ‘You’re welcome, Chris.’

Kate Phillips, Director of Entertainment at the BBC also said: ‘Chris and Rosie are one of the funniest and frankest couples I know. To have them at the helm of a brand new series packed full of very relatable, relevant issues, especially after so many people were locked down together, will be a great treat for 2022!’

Chris and Rosie have had plenty to celebrate over the past year, after welcoming baby son Rafe back in January.

Their podcast also broke a world record and the couple’s comedy podcast has spent an entire year in the top 10 of the UK charts.

The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show will arrive on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer in 2022.

S*****d, Married, Annoyed is released weekly on Fridays, available on Spotify, Soundcloud, Acast and Apple Podcasts.
