Clara Amfo set to host new spin-off for ITV dating show The Cabins after impressing on Strictly

After impressing on Strictly Come Dancing with her fancy footwork, Clara Amfo is now set to take on the small screen as she’s landed a presenting gig with ITV.

The Radio 1 presenter, 36, will be fronting a spin-off show for ITV2’s new dating series The Cabins, which is set to kick off on Monday.

It’s set to be a real treat for all those missing Love Island and even comes with its own After Sun-esque spin-off titled Out Of The Woods.

It’s been confirmed that Clara will be hosting Out Of The Woods alongside Ibiza Weekender star David Potts.

David, who fans will also recognise from Celebrity Karaoke Club, has described his new co-hosting stint with Clara ‘amazing’, while she can’t wait to get started.

Speaking about the show that will delve into all the shenanigans and goings-on of main series, The Cabins, Clara said: ‘Human connection will never not be fascinating to me and millions of others.

‘As a nation, we’re obsessed with seeing how people fall in and out of love and everything in between.’

She told The Sun on Sunday: ‘With the hilarious David by my side, I can’t wait to catch up with our cabin crew to delve deeper into what went down inside those beautifully furnished walls.’

Consider us intrigued.

The Cabins will see a whole new batch of singletons looking for love while staying in dreamy lodgings that aren’t a far cry from what Love Island would look like if it relocated to the Alps.

Those starring on the show will spend 24 hours with potential matches to try and figure out how compatible they are, before deciding whether or not to spend more time together.

It’s a brand new show lined up by ITV2 in the absence of winter Love Island that first aired in January 2020 and saw the islanders shacking up together in South Africa.

Love Island was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but bosses have assured fans it will be back ‘stronger than ever’ this year in 2021.
