A Dancing On Ice star who was scheduled to compete in the 2024 season had to withdraw from the event because to an injury.
Tippy Packard, a professional skater who joined the ITV show in 2022, was set to compete with Eddie the Eagle, who had replaced injured Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb in the lineup.
Tippy had to withdraw from the tournament due to a training incident, according to reports.
Vicky Ogden, a professional skater, has taken Eddie’s position on the rink, saying she is ‘thrilled’ to join him.
Tippy’s injuries has ‘everyone gutted for Tippy,’ according to a TV insider.
They continued to The Sun: ‘She suffered an injury in training but we’re all hopeful that she’ll be back on the show soon.’
We understands that Tippy injured her knee in the accident.
The skater had previously voiced her enthusiasm about collaborating with Eddie on Instagram, posting a photo of herself with the 60-year-old in November of last year.
‘The Eagle has landed! We have completed the Class of 2024! I am so happy to introduce my partner for this series…the legend that is Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards,’ she wrote at the time, as the pair beamed at the camera.
Gogglebox’s Stephen commented underneath: ‘Yay good luck guys! I’m rooting for ya xx,’ after Eddie took his place in the competition.
