ITV has confirmed Dancing on Ice will be back in just a matter of days, with a host of new celebs ready to get their skates on.

The hit ITV show has been a regular fixture on Sunday nights in recent years, with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield at the helm.

This year will see a shake-up on the judging panel, with Oti Mabuse replacing previous judge John Barrowman for this year’s series.

But with radio silence so far about when the show would be back on-screens, fans finally have the answer.

The programme’s official Twitter account shared the good news on Wednesday afternoon.

ITV revealed the ‘greatest show on ice’ will return on Sunday, January 16 at 6.30pm.

There’s a host of great names taking part this year, including Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid and Love Island’s Liberty Poole.

Others who will be taking to the rink are rugby star Ben Foden, Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, Paul Gascoigne’s son, dancer Regan Gascoigne, pop star Rachel Stevens and former Strictly professional dancer Brendan Cole.

Presenter Ria Hebden, BMX Olympic silver medalist Kye Whyte and The Vamps’ Connor Ball complete the line-up for 2022.

It’s not yet been confirmed whether all of this year’s skating celebrities will make their debut on the first show.

New judge Oti will sit alongside previous judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo.

Elsewhere, bookmakers have already carved out their favourites, with Brendan and Regan out in front, at the moment.

The pair are the 3/1 co-favourites for the new series of Dancing On Ice, according to William Hill.

Rupert Adams, Spokesperson for William Hill, said: ‘The 14th series of Dancing On Ice begins next week and this looks to be one of the strongest groups of contestants for some time.

‘It’s little surprise that professional dancers Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne are favourites to transfer their skills to the ice and they head the market at 3/1.

‘However, there’s dancing prowess throughout the 12-strong field of contestants, with Rachel Stevens, a former runner-up on Strictly, only sixth in the betting at 9/1.’

Dancing on Ice returns Sunday, January 16 at 6.30pm on ITV.
