Dancing On Ice lost its fifth candidate when comedian Darren Harriott failed to impress the judges in the skate-off for the second week in a row.
On Sunday night’s programme, the candidates sang renditions of famous movie tunes from Mary Poppins and High School Musical.
The 34-year-old actor and his girlfriend Tippy Packard finished last, along with The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran, who returned to the competition after missing a week due to sickness.
Following a heated skate-off, it was determined that Darren would retire from skating, while Siva cruised into props week with partner Klabera Komini.
Darren gently accepted his destiny and expressed his emotions to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

He told the presenter duo: ‘I lasted a lot longer than I expected. I thought I’d be out before the show started.
‘Honestly, thank you, thank you to everyone. I’ve never skated before Everyone’s been so nice, all the pros and all the celebs.’
The thrilling evening brought Siva back into the fold after a week out due to a chest illness.
Despite finishing in the bottom two, the artist received appreciation for his rendition of Elvis Presley’s A Little Less Conversation (JXL Remix).

Each judge voiced concern about his ability to deliver after taking a break to heal, but it appeared the singer was well-prepared and ready to go.
When asked how he was doing, he revealed that he was still coughing and held his chest as he gave the news.
‘You’ve gone so far and I was scared you’d come back after the week off and even if you were at the same level, the rest of the competitors could have simply moved up a notch, but definitely not,’ said Ashley Banjo.
Darren was dumped when EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer dropped out of the competition last week after losing to the comedian.
The previous week witnessed the departure of Love Island‘s Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, who grew tearful after realising her skating career was over.
In other news, Joey Essex raised eyebrows when he showed fans a photo of a severe-looking injury he sustained while preparing for the ITV programme.
Dancing on Ice continues Sundays at 6:30pm on ITV
