Denise Welch surprised Linda Robson, her co-star on Loose Women, with a wonderful present.
Denise couldn’t allow Linda’s lack of sex toy ownership go unnoticed during a dressing room conversation, so she took matters into her own hands.
She went above and above to ensure her friend could have a pleasant time. The 65-year-old bought Linda’s first vibrator and gave it to her ITV colleague with no warning.
‘When she gave it to me, I was like, “What the hell do I do with this?”‘ Linda recalled.
However, instead of reading the instruction manual Linda, 65, got rid of it due to a fear of being found out.
She added to OK!: ‘What if the kids find it?! So I ended up giving it away.’
Of course, there is no guilt in possessing a toy, and Linda, if you do decide to repurchase, the back of your pants drawer is always a fine place.
The Birds Of A Feather actress is currently uninterested in ‘jiggy jiggy’ after announcing her divorce from husband-of-33-years Mark Dunford, father of her two children, Louis and Roberta. She has a daughter, Lauren, from a previous relationship.
‘I don’t need a man. I have my friends and family. I’m not interested in any of that jiggy jiggy,’ she said.
Linda, who is typically honest, said on Loose Women last year that she had genuinely stopped having sex for a spell.
‘Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years,’ she admitted while discussing the topic of sex breaks.
Linda is poised to release her memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth, on February 15, and it will be as honest as the title suggests.
Her son Louis was stabbed and killed in 2008, prompting her to come up about her mental health issues.
Linda admits that she used to eat oranges to mask the smell of alcohol on her breath and carried a toothbrush with her wherever she went, but she now realises how difficult it was to hide.
