It was only a matter of time until The Traitors’ hero, Diane Carson, was given a bubbly rosé brand contract.
Diane, 63, became known as the’mother of the homosexuals’ after saying, ‘But Ross is….’ alluding to her hidden son, who was also participating in the BBC series.
But just when we thought she couldn’t get much worse, she died from a glass of effervescent rosé after taking a sip from the ‘poisoned chalice’ after a particularly nasty task.
She then led a procession to her own burial before being buried alive in front of her son. It was fantastic.
Naturally, the UK has grown a little infatuated with the retired theatre teacher, and grocery retailer Lidl is eager to grab her before their competitors do.
Diane has been posting videos of herself back on the fizzy rosé on Instagram after her withdrawal from The Traitors, which resulted in Harry Clark winning the £95,150 prize.
Lidl has now shared a photo of Diane’s face, peaking out from behind a bottle of her favourite tipple with the caption: ‘Hey [Ross], reckon your mum would be up for a cheeky collab?’
Diane has yet to react, but we have tracked her down and will let you know as soon as we receive an answer.
The cast of The Traitors reunited on Friday night following the nail-biting climax in which evil genius Harry managed to trick all of his opponents and win the jackpot, which he used to throw a raucous party for his friends and family.
Mollie Pearce nearly identified Harry as a traitor, placing his name on her board to exclude him… Until she washed it away and tossed out loyal Jaz Singh instead.
The Traitors is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now.
