Rishi Sunak may not be the ideal guy to call on during the pub quiz’s music part, since he looks to be unsure about his favourite singer, Bob Marley.
In an interview that will run tonight on TalkTV’s Uncensored, Piers Morgan grills the Prime Minister at Downing Street on his first 100 days in office.
Piers, 57, questioned the PM whether he had a similar philosophy to his predecessor Tony Blair, who allegedly had a fish at Downing Street that sang the iconic tune Don’t Worry Be Happy.
‘I have my wife, although she doesn’t sing Don’t Worry Be Happy, but we adore Bob Marley,’ Mr Sunak, 42, said.
Piers swiftly moved on to the next issue, presumably unaware that Mr Sunak had made a mistake regarding the late reggae icon.
Music lovers may recall that Marley and the Wailers sang Three Little Birds, which had the lines ‘don’t worry about a thing, because everything’s going to be okay,’ in 1977.

Another said: ‘”Don’t Worry Be Happy” is definitely a Bob Marley song @RishiSunak,’ with a sarcastic thumbs up.
Schooling the PM on his dodgy music knowledge, one other viewer weighed in: ‘But…but…Bobby McFerrin sang that. Bob Marley sang Three Little Birds.’
Piers pressed the Conservative Party leader on the continuing industrial strikes and his government’s policy of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda when they weren’t riffing on music taste.
The new Prime Minister has had an interesting first 100 days, dealing with corruption allegations against his party, the NHS in crisis, and the worst strike action in a decade.
Last month, he announced five goals for 2023: halving inflation, growing the economy, reducing national debt, reducing NHS wait times, and passing new rules to prevent tiny boats from crossing the Channel.
Concerning the economic situation, Mr Sunak asserted that he can get the economy going again “this year,” urging people to “have hope” that things will improve.
Piers Morgan Uncensored airs weeknights at 8pm on TalkTV.
