Disney Plus Day 2021: Shang-Chi, Jungle Cruise and many more available to stream this November

Disney Plus is about the mark its second birthday this November, and what better way to celebrate than with a Disney Plus Day party.

The upcoming celebratory event, Disney Plus Day, will drop a selection of new movies, episodes and other exciting content for their loyal subscribers, and will include access to promotions and experiences across the Disney brand.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, the latest film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fantasy adventure film Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt will be made available for all subscribers. We’re the ones being spoiled like its our birthday.

The upcoming event will also provide special merch offers on their website and most importantly, access to new movies and TV shows on the hit streaming platform.

The list doesn’t stop there as the same day also sees the premiere of the new Home Alone film, going by the name Home Sweet Home Alone.

Other releases will include a series of mini animations including Frozen Fever, Olaf Presents and a Pixar animated short called Ciao Alberto starring characters from Luca.

Alongside those movies, will be a new Simpsons short film, as well as fresh Marvel and Star Wars special looks. The first five episodes of the upcoming season of The World According to Jeff Goldblum will also air.

Subscribers to the service will also get to watch the inaugural Disney+ Day celebration, which will include breaking news, first looks, new trailers, exclusive clips, and appearances from Disney Plus icons.

Chief executive of the Walt Disney company, Bob Chapek said: ‘This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses.’

All users can celebrate Disney Plus Day on November 12 on the streamer.
