Eamonn Holmes has admitted he does not know who Giovanna Fletcher is – and we’re pretty surprised to be honest.

The presenter and his wife Ruth Langsford, both 60, were discussing the rumoured line-up for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on This Morning when he made the revelation.

And it seems Eamonn was a bit disappointed with the signing either way.

‘The line-up seems to be complete for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, amongst the names Sir Mo Farah is in there,’ he began. ‘Shane Richie the comedian in there, AJ Pritchard the dancer from Strictly, Russell Watson.

‘The favourite is someone called, never heard of her, Giovanna Fletcher,’ as Eamonn turned to his wife, asking her: ‘Who’s she?’

Ruth responded: ‘She does an amazing podcast and writes books.’

‘Never heard of her,’ Eamonn replied.

Giovanna is just one of the latest stars who is believed to have signed up to the ITV reality series, with the podcast host said to be a ‘last-minute addition’ to the cast.

A source told The Sun: ‘She’s moved in famous circles for years. Not only is she best pals with Emma Willis but she’s close to royalty, married to a boyband star and her brother is Mario Falcone from Towie.

‘She’s decided the time is right to embrace the limelight.’

This year’s series of I’m A Celebrity will be the first to take place in the UK instead of Australia due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

It will be held at Gwrych Castle in Wales, with renovations taking place to ensure a campsite, dunny and rickety bridge stays in place.

The celebs taking part will still be faced with the usual elements of the show, including the famous bushtucker trials, which they will have to win in order to obtain meals.

ITV have yet to confirm the official line-up, but are expected to do so during the show’s Jungle Story special, which will be broadcast this Sunday.

This Morning continues next Monday at 10am on ITV, while I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stars Sunday November 15 at 9pm on ITV.
