In a recent conversation, Goldsmith informed Britton about rumors of Schofield appearing on the show, to which Fern responded humorously, indicating her potential exit.
Despite acknowledging the challenges of working on the show, Britton praised This Morning as an institution that can weather storms and come back stronger.
