Friends: The Reunion trailer is here and it promises to be epic

The trailer for the long-awaited Friends reunion special has arrived, and it already promises to be epic.

Friends: The Reunion sees Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox and Matt Le Blanc join forces once more to reminisce on one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.

Although not a new episode of the much-loved show, the cast of Friends have reenacted iconic scenes as well as sharing backstage secrets as they chatted to host James Corden.

Reuniting on the original sound stage where they filmed Friends from 1994 until 2004, the cast are seen being quizzed on trivia by David as well as doing a table read of an old episode.

Lisa is seen screaming Phoebe’s iconic line: ‘My eyes! My eyes!” after seeing Chandler and Monica hooking up, while the cast members later shed a tear at the many happy memories of that time.

The cast slipped right back into their characters as if no time had passed to read The One With The Jellyfish, the first episode from season four which sees Ross breaking up with Bonnie and getting back together with Rachel after she gives him a letter about their relationship, but falls asleep before finishing it because it was ‘eighteen pages, front and back!’

As well as the main cast, the reunion special will also see guest stars and celebrity fans of the show, including Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga taking part.

While the special episode will air on HBO Max on May 27, Deadline also reports that Sky is tipped to pick up the special in the UK as the broadcaster has exclusive rights to HBO originals.
