GB News coming soon Andrew Neil, Kirsty Gallacher and Simon McCoy
GB News is expected to shake up the TV news landscape with the brand new programme launching this evening.
The network, chaired by veteran broadcaster and former BBC political interviewer, Andrew Neil, has announced a raft of high profile signings, including former Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher, ex-BBC presenter Simon McCoy and former ITV presenter, Alastair Stewart.
It will be a new player on the TV news scene, which is currently dominated by Sky News and BBC News.
Neil has denied GB News will be like America’s Fox News, and pledged that those who spread ‘fake news’ will face disciplinary action.

GB News will launch at 8pm on June 13 with a special programme called Welcome To GB News.
GB News will broadcast seven days a week across the UK and Ireland and will be available globally on GB News digital platforms.
8pm-9pm: Welcome To GB News
Andrew Neil will kick off the GB News launch by introducing the team. The show will also feature news, debates and opinions from across the UK.
Neil’s daily show on GB News will take on the biggest hitters in politics and news, live from 8pm-9pm every weeknight.
Speaking of the channel, he said: ‘GB News is the most exciting thing to happen in British television news for more than 20 years.
‘We will champion robust, balanced debate and a range of perspectives on the issues that affect everyone in the UK, not just those living in the London area.’
9pm-Midnight: Tonight Live with Dan Wootton
Dan Wootton will dissect the day’s stories, with big-name interviews from news, sport and entertainment.
He will present his nightly show Sunday to Thursday at 9pm.
