Gemma Collins pays tribute to ‘kind’ Piers Morgan after breaking down on Life Stories: ‘I have made mistakes’

Gemma Collins has thanked Piers Morgan for being ‘kind and understanding’ after breaking down on his show Life Stories.

In scenes which aired last night, the reality star broke down as she recalled contemplating suicide after she split with James ‘Arg’ Argent.

Posing in a bright pink crop-top and black leggings, Gemma looked as glam as ever as she shared the lengthy post.

‘Thank you @piersmorgan for being so kind and understanding behind the GC facade there is just a girl from Romford with BIG DREAMS,’ she began.

‘Everyone can do it you just need to BELIEVE. THANKYOU to all my family and friends for standing by me through the highs and lows.’

During her interview with Piers, Gemma got emotional when talking about her relationship with Arg.

After watching a video outlining their relationship, Gemma explained: ‘When I see a picture of James in the grey cardigan, he was really well then.

‘For anyone that ever thinks about taking drugs, or just trying it for one night, you do end up getting really addicted.

‘I was really happy with James, and we did get on, but the drugs changed him as a person, and it was… I fought every day for three years to get him well.’

Piers Morgan’s Life Stories is available to watch on the ITV Hub.
