Gogglebox’s Shaun Malone melts viewers’ hearts as he introduces baby Louis on screen

Gogglebox star Shaun Malone opened tonight’s episode with an introduction to his baby son Louis – and viewers couldn’t handle the cuteness.

Shaun and his partner Jade welcomed their first child together back in July, although the newborn had yet to make an appearance in the series.

Tonight, the 25-year-old finally gave viewers a glimpse of the four-month-old tot, with the two appearing together right at the beginning of tonight’s show.

Shaun could be seen holding baby Louis in his arms, with the little one wearing a blue romper.

Meanwhile, Shaun’s parents Tom and Julie Malone were seated alongside the pair, and were very excited to be able to see their grandson in person.

‘Big man Louis!’ they both exclaimed together.

It seems fans of the show online had their heart warmed by the adorable moment, with one writing on Twitter: ‘Aww it’s baby Malone.’

Another added: ‘Aww the smiles for grandad Malone.’

While a third tweeted: ‘Awww looks like his grandad Malone there.’

We certainly have to agree.

Shortly after confirming the news of his son’s birth on Instagram, Shaun shared an adorable snap of him sleeping in his crib.

Louis was also wearing his own personalised romper, which bared the words: ‘Hello World. I’m Louis Maloney.’

‘Hi everyone this is Louis Malone 8lb 12oz,’ Shaun captioned the post.

The TV star later revealed that he had named his son after none-other-than Louis Theroux – yes, really.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, he told us: ‘We came up with the name Louis because it’s a nice name.

‘She [Jade] didn’t kind of know this but deep down he’s named after Louis Theroux.

‘I am a big fan of Louis Theroux so I have got to name him after the main man himself.’

Shaun usually appears on Gogglebox alongside Tom Snr, Julie, brother Tom Jnr and their beloved pet dogs.

Gogglebox continues next Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
