Gogglebox’s Tapper family rule out return despite fans calling for comeback

Gogglebox family the Tappers have ruled out returning to the Channel 4 show despite fans calling for them to make a comeback.

The family who lives in north London includes dad Jonathan, mum Nikki and children Amy and Josh.

Despite being firm favourites on the show it has been claimed that the Tappers have no desire to make a return since they quit in 2018.

A source has alleged that the family have ‘no plans’ to appear on Gogglebox again and that they have ‘moved on’.

‘The Tapper family was part of Gogglebox for five years and they loved it. But they don’t have any plans to return. They have moved on,’ a source told the Daily Star.

‘They have some exciting things in the pipeline that they want to focus on. They have a lot coming up this year.’

‘I loved being part of Gogglebox because it meant we spent quality time together as a family. I do miss that,’ Amy said, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

‘But we are a close-knit family anyway. And with any job, after a while, you want to move on to the next thing. You use the experience you’ve had to go on and get the next job.’
