Gogglebox’s Tom Malone reveals family’s cheeky Easter egg for eagle-eyed viewers

Gogglebox has starred some wonderful families over the years, but few have made an impact with viewers as much as the Malones.

The Manchester family have been making viewers laugh for six seasons, with mum Julie, dad Tom Sr, sons Tom Jr and Shaun – not to mention dogs Dave, Lucy, Izzy and Joe – all becoming fan favourites.

They’re known for laying out trays of cakes and sweet treats in their front room during their appearances on the show, but it turns out there’s something we’ve been missing all along.

Gogglebox star Tom has revealed that his family like to arrange their snacks into risqué shapes for eagle-eyed viewers to spot.

The 26-year-old reality star told fans that his family like to leave cheeky Easter eggs for fans via social media.

Speaking to fans on his TikTok page, Tom said: ‘We have, me and my dad before, put the cakes in different positions and different shapes to see if any eagle-eyed viewers would actually notice.’

He added: ‘Sometimes quite rude shapes.’

Keep your eyes pealed for more surprise shapes in the cakes in future episodes.

The Malones have been on the show since back in 2014, proving one of the most popular families on the show.

Tom Jr and his family have interesting jobs outside of the show too. Tom is a freelance model and streetdance choreographer, while Shaun used to be a stage actor in Billy Elliott until he turned to sport, coaching Manchester United’s Under-16s Ability Counts football team.
