Charlotte Hawkins of Good Morning Britain has revealed she was humiliated when an ITV staffer had to bring her back her own pants.
On Friday, co-host Ben Shephard exposed Charlotte, 48, by revealing that she previously left all of her clothing ‘behind a curtain’.
Ahead of a discussion about what people have been found to leave behind in hotel rooms, Charlotte admitted: ‘I have this fear of leaving something behind and it’s gone forever.’
‘But you have left stuff in the past haven’t you, embarrassing things you left once so that would be the fear,’ Ben then revealed.
He went on: ‘Charlotte once got changed behind a curtain and left all of her gear, including all of her underwear, and someone had to go and get it and send it back to her.’
Charlotte, shocked that Ben was telling the story on camera, exclaimed ‘What?!’ as he continued: ‘So once you’ve done that once, you have to sort of panic.’
‘I’m regretting telling you that story earlier this morning that I wasn’t necessarily going to share with people!’ Charlotte piped in with.
‘If I had done, I might’ve toned it down a bit!’
Ben didn’t mind though, going on: ‘The stage manager that had to go and fold up all your gear.’
‘I was so mortified,’ Charlotte added.
‘And also they had folded it in a little neat pile for me, including my pants sat right at the top, which was so embarrassing!’
Charlotte quickly moved on to other weird objects that individuals had left behind in hotel rooms, including dentures and a whole clown suit.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1.
