Adele’s stunning Vogue cover left Good Morning Britain star Ben Shephard in a tizz as he made a rather cheeky joke about the photo.
The Someone Like You singer appears as US and UK Vogue’s November cover girl as she prepares to return with her new single, Easy On Me, next week.
On one of the covers, Adele, 33, wears a beautiful yellow corset from designer Vivienne Westwood which accentuated her cleavage.
Reacting to the photo on Friday’s GMB, Kate Garraway said: ‘How fantastic does she look?’
Her co-host Ben chimed in: ‘Goodness me! Fabulous pictures on the front of both the UK and American editions of Vogue this morning, really sensational aren’t they? She looks incredible!’
‘She looks superb,’ Kate added.
Ben then burst into laughter as the corset photo appeared on-screen with a strapline quickly covering Adele’s modesty to appease GMB’s early morning viewers.
‘Did you see before those straps along the bottom, that sort of went up at just the right moment didn’t it?’ he quipped.
Presenter Charlotte Hawkins joked: ‘Digitally placed.’
Kate stated: ‘Well, it is early in the morning!’ to which Ben joked: ‘It’s never too early for that Kate Garraway!’
His co-host moved the conversation along and said: ‘You can see so much joy in her. We’ve been waiting so long for this, she’s just looking sensational.’
Later in the discussion, Ben and Kate got into a playful spat when he accused her of talking over him.
Trying to introduce a snippet of Adele’s new song, Ben told viewers: ‘There was a little glimpse of it there but of course Kate was talking over it. There’s a bit of her new music!’
‘Oh he’s started already by the way,’ Kate chimed in.
A frustrated Ben replied: ‘She’s talking again! I want to play Adele’s new music and you’re still talking!’
Kate then quipped: ‘You’d think I was co-presenting!’
Her co-host sidekick remarked: ‘We’re three minutes in. Let’s put it to the people, would you like to do a bit of Adele’s new music everybody?’
As Kate said she’d ‘love to’, Ben pleaded: ‘Kate, if you could be quiet for 19 seconds here’s a little bit of Adele’s new music.’
However, as the clip played with just an instrumental, Ben joked: ‘Oh, you should have carried on talking.’
Kate replied: ‘I’m saying nothing! We’ve waited so long for this.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
