CBeebies has shared a sneaky first look at Harry Styles ahead of his upcoming Bedtime Stories appearance and we can’t wait to settle in.
The former One Direction star, 28, will read Jess Hitchman’s In Every House, On Every Street, which is illustrated by Lili la Baleine, on Monday evening. The story is described as a ‘heart-warming celebration of homes and the different families that live in them’.
It remains to be seen as to whether Harry’s new accent will slip its way into the episode, but either way we’re stoked.
In pictures released ahead of the broadcast, Harry, known for his love of gender-fluid fashion, sits cross-legged in blue and brown spotted pyjamas with a chunky beaded necklace around his neck.
Sitting in a yellow armchair, the singer’s nails are painted a matching yellow and he wears a collection of chunky rings on his fingers.
Harry’s bedtime story will air on tonight and he will introduce the story saying: ‘Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter.’
He follows in the footsteps of Hollywood star Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America; Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl; and British actor Tom Hiddleston, who have all appeared on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
Harry released his third solo album, Harry’s House, last Friday, sending the globe into meltdown.
The 13-track album features the chart-topping lead single As It Was, with John Mayer on lead guitar on the songs Cinema and Daydreaming.
Speaking about the record, Harry, 28, recently said: ‘I think everyone went through a big moment of self-reflection, a lot of navel-gazing, and I don’t know if there’s anything more navel-gazing than making an album. It’s so self-absorbed.’
He added to Better Homes & Gardens: ‘It sounds like the biggest, and the most fun, but it’s by far the most intimate.’
CBeebies Bedtime Stories airs weekdays at 6.50pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
