Holly Willoughby admitted that she was left in tears during Dancing On Ice rehearsals after being left so petrified by the pesky dinosaur in the studio.
On This Morning, Holly relived her horror at meeting the giant animatronic dino, brought in for Lady Leshurr’s Jurassic Park themed routine for Movie Week.
Admitting she ‘wasn’t a fan’ of the prop, which moved and interacted with her, Phillip then shared a clip of them practicing their lines, with Holly breaking down as soon as it got near her.
Wearing jeans and a jumper instead of that evening’s killer red dress, Holly recoiled in horror and curled up as she felt the model coming up behind her, while Phillip cracked up laughing.
‘Ooooh, where is it? Oh my God!’ Holly wailed, screaming whenever it tried to touch her as she started to cry, telling them to ‘Make it stop!’
‘It made me actually cry! I had actual tears,’ Holly then explained back in the studio.
But Phillip wasn’t very sympathetic, and still laughing, told her: ‘That was the best fun. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you that scared.’
‘I’ve been so good with not being freaked out recently, I was saving it all up for that moment.’
The T-rex certainly caused trouble live on air, leaving Holly wailing and Phillip in fits of laughter as he watched his friend struggle to say her cues.
Even Ashley Banjo was poked and prodded by the prehistoric animal as it nudged him during Lady Leshurr’s critiques.
Unfortunately, while the dinosaurs were fun, it wasn’t enough to save Lady Leshurr from the skate-off.
Thankfully, the judges decided to save the musician, and instead Rebekah Vardy was sent home ahead of the semi-finals next week.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
