Holly Willoughby is expected to leave This Morning at the beginning of next month, as reports about her feud with co-host Phillip Schofield persist.
The future of the ITV daytime show looks to be in doubt following rumours of a ‘fallout’ between Phil, 61, and Holly, 42.
While they have maintained a unified face on the This Morning couch, and Phil recently stated that they are “still the best of friends,” suspicions have circulated.
Speculation arose when it was alleged the Dancing On Ice hosts were ‘barely communicating’ behind-the-scenes and that their relationship had ‘cooled’.
According to reports, Phil is’refusing to leave This Morning,’ with one insider calling the situation a “runaway train that cannot be stopped.”
Meanwhile, a recent source claimed that Holly considered leaving the show, claiming that ‘by removing herself from the circumstances she might defend herself better’.
It has now been predicted that Holly is just weeks away from stepping back, with bookmaker William Hill revealing that she has a 4/1 chance to leave This Morning before the start of June.
William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: ‘There seems to be plenty to suggest that Holly Willoughby’s time on This Morning might be coming to an end and we offer 4/1 that she departs her role by the end of the month.
‘Holly will surely be hot property if she does depart and we think the likes of Love Island and Loose Women (both 6/1) and Strictly (10/1) will be on the agenda.’
With a rumoured move from This Morning, the bookmaker has given predictions of what Holly might go on to do, with a 6/1 chance of hosting Love Island and the same to present Loose Women in 2023.
She’s 10/1 to host Strictly Come Dancing, and 20/1 to host I’m A Celebrity after her 2018 tenure.
This follows rumours that both Holly and Phil will be taking a vacation from This Morning, which will coincide with half term, when the pair is generally off-screen anyway.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
