Holly Willoughby swoons over Prince William as royal shares ‘guns out’ Covid vaccine photo

Holly Willoughby was left swooning over the Duke of Cambridge after the royal shared a picture of himself getting the Covid-19 vaccine with his ‘guns out’.

In a recent post shared on social media, Prince William confirmed that he received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday, writing in the caption: ‘To all those working on the vaccine rollout – thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do.’

While the duke was spreading an important message, many of his fans couldn’t help but address his ‘guns’, with one Instagram user writing: ‘Those guns tho!!’

On Thursday’s edition of This Morning, Holly read out some of the comments on the post, saying that she ‘couldn’t help but have a little smile’ when she saw them.

‘It wasn’t “congratulations on your vaccine”. It was: ‘Oh, Prince William works out, looking pretty buff Wills! Sun’s out guns out! Hubba hubba! No wonder the Duchess of Cambridge always looks so happy”,’ Holly said as she read them out.

When guest Matthew Wright remarked that he didn’t think Prince William’s arm was ‘huge’, Holly added: ‘He looks good! He looks like a strong, strong guy!’

Phillip Schofield questioned if ‘there might be an element of tensing’ in the photo, a notion that guest Julia Hartley-Brewer agreed with.

‘I know that Holly will back me up on this – he was a hottie at 18,’ Julia said, as the camera cut to Holly to show the This Morning co-host giggling.

After Julia harshly stated that the ‘years have not been kind’ to Prince William in reference to his receding hairline, Matthew pointed out the fact that the majority of the attention being given to the photo is focusing on the royal’s appearance, rather than the message of getting the vaccine.

‘Welcome to life as a woman,’ Holly chimed in, to which Matthew replied: ‘Damn right.’

Matthew became the subject of criticism during another segment on This Morning when he fat-shamed the cast of Friends after watching the trailer for the upcoming reunion.

‘You can see who’s been eating all the pies, can’t you?’ Matthew said, prompting Phillip to call him out by exclaiming: ‘Stop judging people so horribly!’

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
