Martin Roberts has been ‘battered and bruised’ while filming a secretive TV project, prompting concern from fans.
The presenter, best known for hosting Home Under the Hammer, has been keeping his followers in the dark about his latest work.
He’s now taken to Instagram though, with the 58-year-old said the project was a ‘challenge’ and describing the experience was an ‘emotional rollercoaster’ – but he’ll be able to reveal all in two weeks.
‘Well, I’m finally home after what I can say was one heck of a day,’ he informed his followers.
‘I know it’s really frustrating that I can’t tell you what I’m doing but I thought if I report back.’
He added: ‘Today’s been an emotional rollercoaster clearly; tears, laughter, the whole lot.’
Fans will have to wait until November to hear what he’s been up to – what could it be?
‘Then you’ll understand everything!’ he said. ‘But as I say, it has been a challenge and honestly, all your support and words of encouragement have helped me through it.
‘So when you see it, it’s something of a success, OK? I mean that.’
Martin added the caption: ‘Finally home. Slightly battered and bruised but in one piece! Thank you again for all the encouragement.’
Concerned fans were quick to send their messages of support.
‘Just rest and chill out now,’ one wrote, while another added: ‘Glad it was okay as can be.’
It comes after Martin said he’s concerned he’ll be back in the hospital if he’s not careful following his trip due to a serious skin condition earlier this year.
The presenter was rushed to A&E when his cellulitis, which can be serious if it’s not treated quickly, flared up and spread to his foot.Credit: Original article published here.
