How to watch the Friends reunion in the UK

It’s the one that Friends fans across the world have been waiting for – the cast reunion will finally be aired this week.

It has been 17 years since the show ended, and fans have been hoping to see the cast back together for some time now.

Teasers for the show gave a glimpse of the old Central Perk gang – Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) – back together on the old sets.

It promises to be a packed programmefeaturing the actors reflecting on their time on Friends, and it already looks like it is going to be very emotionally charged.

The reunion special will be making its debut in the US on HBO Max, but when can you watch it in the UK?

When is the Friends reunion out?

The Friends reunion will be landing on HBO Max on May 27, but thankfully those in the UK will not have to wait long, as it will also be arriving the very same day as the US.

How to watch the Friends reunion in the UK

It has been confirmed Sky One will be broadcasting Friends: The Reunion from 8pm on May 27.

If you find you can’t wait till the evening, you will also be able to watch it from 8am on the same day on demand on Sky and if you are subscribed to the streaming platform NOW.


Who will be in the Friends reunion?

The main cast are not the only actors from the show set to be a part of the reunion

Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Reese Witherspoon (Jill), and Tom Selleck (Richard) are all confirmed to be making an appearance.

Many fans are upset by the apparent absence of Paul Rudd, who played Phoebe’s husband Mike in the show.

The reunion, set to be hosted by James Corden, will also feature a roster of celebrity guests, including Lady Gaga, Kit Harington, David Beckham, and Justin Bieber.

Friends: The Reunion will be available on demand from 8am May 27, and will be aired on Sky One at 8pm on the same day.
