The Undoing could become your next binge-watch obsession, after the psychological suspense thriller – which reunites Big Little Lies creator David E Kelley with Nicole Kidman – dropped on to screens in the US and UK.
Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s critically-acclaimed novel You Should Have Known, Kidman takes the lead as Grace Fraser, a seemingly perfect and high-flying therapist who finds herself embroiled in a very public disaster just weeks before her first book is due to be published.
The series, which also stars Hugh Grant, Noma Dumezweni and Donald Sutherland, is directed by Suzanne Bier (Bird Box), has received generally positive reviews – but where can you watch it in the UK, and when is it next on?
Here’s what you need to know…
How can you watch The Undoing in the UK?
The Undoing is airing in the UK on Sky Atlantic.
The first episode screened on Monday night, a day after it was shown on HBO in the US.
It continues next Monday night on Sky Atlantic at 9pm.
If you missed it, you can catch up via Sky On Demand, or you can also watch the series on NOW TV.
You’ll need a Sky subscription for the former – for the latter, you’ll need an Entertainment Pass costing £9.99 a month – with a free seven-day trial available.
What is The Undoing about?
The story sees Kidman’s character’s life begin to unravel after a mother at her son’s school is found dead, sparking off a chain of events which she becomes inextricably caught up in.
As the HBO synopsis reads: ‘Grace has a devoted husband, Jonathan (Hugh Grant), and young son who attends an elite private school in New York City.
‘Weeks before her book is published, a chasm opens in her life: a violent death, a missing spouse, and, in the place of a man Grace thought she knew, only a chain of terrible revelations.
‘Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster, and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and herself.’
