‘I was left in the dark’: Too Hot to Handle season 2 winner Marvin Anthony ghosted Melinda Melrose and left her totally ‘heartbroken’

During the Too Hot to Handle season two reunion, Melinda Melrose revealed she was ghosted by Marvin Anthony after the show ended.

The final episodes of the Netflix smash confirmed French entrepreneur Marvin won the $55,000 (£37,000) prize fund, which was slashed from $100,000 (£71,000) thanks to his co-stars.

Contestants had to try and refrain from having any intimate contact with each other for four weeks, with the odd exception here and there.

During the juicy reunion special the pair explained that they had organised a trip to Tulum, Mexico, to see each other again.

‘We were meant to meet in Tulum in Mexico, I booked my flight to go there and we fought and so finally I didn’t go,’ Marvin said.

Melinda confirmed that the pair were meant to meet but slammed Marvin for cancelling her flight.

She added: ‘I booked the Airbnb, I had things planned but of course Marvin and I did get into an argument, that is true. He could have put his big boy pants on and still come but he decided to cancel his whole flight.

‘The day that I was supposed to come he was ignoring my texts, I was texting Chase as well, he ignored me too, I was left in the dark.’

Melinda went on to explain that Marvin then went on to go to Mexico a month later, but with Chase instead.

The 28-year-old model said she was left devastated.

‘I was so sad, I wanted to be by myself, I was heartbroken,’ she said.

Marvin explained that while their relationship ended, they are back on speaking terms.

‘For a long time we didn’t talk or anything but now we talk and we are on good terms and I don’t know what will happen but we’ll see,’ Marvin said.

‘We’re not together anymore even though I do miss her a lot.’

Melinda added that she will ‘always have love’ for Marvin.

Too Hot to Handle season one and two can be streamed on Netflix.
