I’m A Celeb 2020: Jessica Plummer’s dad thinks daughter’s trials have been ‘harder’ than other stars

Jessica Plummer’s dad Keith believes his daughter’s trials have been ‘harder’ than the other campmates on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

It’s no secret that the EastEnders has shown her fear in a lot of the trials she has taken part in, but her dad believes last night’s task was a game-changer for Jess.

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on Thursday’s instalment, Keith said he was ‘cringing’ while watching Jessica take part in last night’s Bushtucker Trial with Shane Richie.

‘She was absolutely amazing yesterday, I mean yesterday was a big game-changer for Jess, up until yesterday’s trial ‘ he began.

‘She’s my daughter and she’s doing very well and some of the trials she has had to do, I feel have been a bit harder than some of the others, but doing the stuff with the rats, the pigeons, the insects.

‘That’s totally not Jess, but you can see the determination with her and she wants to do her best and get a larger meal for the rest of the camp.’

‘Yesterday was amazing,’ he added.

‘I was laughing just now when you showed the clip of her, it was hilarious but I was cringing.’

During Wednesday night’s instalment, Jessica and soap star Shane left viewers gagging after taking on the Sickening Stalls task together, with Ant and Dec calling it one of the funniest trials they’d ever had on the show.

The pair won 12 stars for camp by necking an assortment of gruesome cocktails, with the pair beginning with blended fermented duck eggs and blended fish eyes.

Shane and Jessica also drank blended drinks consisting of sheep’s testicles, chicken’s feet, mealworms, pig’s snout, pig’s vagina and vomit fruit.

It’s safe to say, the task was tough for both celebs as the duo struggled to keep some of the drinks down.

Poor Jess was so sick after the trial, that she couldn’t even eat the meal she had won for camp.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV.
