I’m A Celebrity 2020: Ant and Dec confirm the return of iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! looks different than ever this series after its relocation to Wales, but one of the series’ most iconic trials is still happening.

The presenting duo have teased the return of Celebrity Cyclone, one of the climactic trials fans have enjoyed the most over the years.

The series comes to an end on Friday and it looks like fans will get to see the remaining celebs take on the whirlwind challenge before the curtain comes down on the series.

Replying to a fan on Twitter who asked ’What’s happening to Celebrity Cyclone this year?’, Ant and Dec wrote: ‘Coming soon…’

Celebrity Cyclone sees guests battle gale force winds in an attempt to progress up a slippery slope, trying to hold on to giant stars and win meals for camp.

The trial usually sees all of the remaining contestants take part and marks one of the most physically gruelling challenges of the series.

Vernon Kay, Sir Mo Farah, Giovanna Fletcher, Shane Richie, AJ Pritchard and Jordan North are the six stars who remain in the competition, after Russell Watson and Jessica Plummer left in last night’s double elimination.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving camp, Jessica said: ‘It feels like we’ve been in that castle and it’s been in our home, what feels like forever but at the same time it’s gone so quick.

‘I feel like I have given it my all, my main thing is I never wanted to quit, I am a bit of a scaredy-cat and I’m just really proud that I didn’t quit.’

Russell added: ‘It’s emotional really, it just reminds me of what a good time we had in there and how brilliant everyone’s been.’ ‘It felt difficult going in late because you feel like everybody has established a relationship but they welcomed us in straight away.’

It comes after journalist Victoria Derbyshire and soap star Beverley Callard left the camp on Monday.

Sunday night’s episode saw West End star Ruthie Henshall leave, after Paralympian Hollie Arnold was voted out last week.
