The Coronation Street actress has declared that she doesn’t eat meat or meat products during the course of the show, allowing her to be exempt from the more grizzly eating trials.
But last night, she was seen among the stars munching on savoury eggs that were won in the Castle Coin challenge by Ruthie Henshall and Jordan North.
Announcing them as scotch eggs – a hard boiled egg surrounded by breaded sausage meat – viewers called out Beverley, who was seen happily eating them.
Thankfully, Ant and Dec were on hand to clear up any issues, and after seeing the anger on Twitter, immediately set the record straight.
Responding to a viewer, Declan wrote on the presenters’ shared Twitter account: ‘She got a vegan one tbf. D #imacelebrity.’
That did little to stop furious viewers though, who are insisting that she’s lying about being vegan in order to avoid the nastier tasks.
In her first bushtucker trial, Frights Of The Round Table, she was seen being given fermented tofu while Vernon Kay and Jordan were dealt sheep’s brain and penis
But fans have been trying to catch her out ever since, especially with the Castle Coin treats where she was seen eating ‘bread and butter’ (with the butter on hers never actually seen) and munching on a Jammie Dodger (which, believe it or not, are actually vegan).
Beverley was also exempt from the latest trial due to medical grounds – something she defended herself live on air over.
As Ant and Dec stated she was ruled out of Cruel Jewels, Beverley yelled that she ‘wasn’t a wuss’ and wanted to take part, but wasn’t allowed to.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
