I’m A Celebrity’s new star Kiosk Cledwyn has been on the show for less than a week, but he’s already come under fire from Dr Alex.

The Love Island star and I’m A Celeb super fan claimed that the first quiz question Cledwyn posed to the camp was incorrect – and he might just have a point.

The moment came during Tuesday’s Castle Coin Challenge, when the celebrities were asked what percentage of Brits talked about the weather at least once a day. They were given the options of 26% and 44%.

If they answered currently, the celebrities would have won Welsh cakes for camp. However, after the campmates decided on 44%, Cledwyn shut the doors of his shack to Giovanna Fletcher and Hollie Arnold and the camp missed out on a tray of delicious cakes.

Not happy with the result, Alex has put in some research. As it turns out, Cledwyn might owe the campmates an apology.

‘That’s not true!! It’s 100% of Brits!’ Alex posted on Twitter, before delving a little deeper.

He managed to unearth research online that found a whopping 94% of Brits admitted to talking about the weather in the past six hours.

Armed with his findings, Dr. Alex went back onto Twitter and wrote: ‘Give them the damn Welsh cakes!!!’

The first scandal of this year’s I’m A Celebrity series involves a tray of cakes – who’d have thought it?

Cledwyn is standing in for his ‘cousin’ Kiosk Kev this year, with his Aussie counterpart living it up on the beach during his time off.

I’m A Celebrity airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
