I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Ferne McCann believes Jordan North’s fear is genuine.

The former Towie star, who appeared on the programme in 2015, explained that being buried with snakes has only made her fear worse.

‘I was watching the trial last night,’ Ferne she told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on Tuesday’s This Morning.

‘I’m speaking because I know it, Jordan, that was genuine fear, bless him.’

‘It takes over your whole body and to be buried underground with snakes, honestly it was the most terrifying moment of my life,’ she continued.

‘Has what you went through helped you long term with your fear of snakes.’ Phillip asked.

‘No, and with spiders, it’s actually made my fears worse,’ Ferne added.

‘Mt poor daughter, if there is a spider I’m like “Ahhhhh” she’s like “Mummy what’s going on?”.

‘No it has made it worse, I hate snakes and I hate spiders, but well done to Jordan.’

Poor Jordan has to face another trial tonight (Picture: ITV/REX)

Last night, Jordan, along with soap star Shane Richie took on the first official Bushtucker Trial where there were buried in coffins. that were slowly filled with snakes.

Emotions was running high for poor Jordan, who admitted to shedding a few tears.

In the trial Jordan kept shouting about his ‘Happy place’ in a bid to distract the reality of what was going on.

It appears that the Radio 1 DJ has become a fan favourite, as he has also be voted to do tonight’s trial, along with Vernon Kay and Beverley Callard.

Maybe he will go to his ‘Happy Place’ again?

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns tonight at 9.15pm.
