I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Giovanna Fletcher has revealed that she has been practising the show’s eating trials for years.
The mum-of-three joked that she is prepared for any of the eating challenges she may have to do, as she and her family already practice them at home…with vegetables.
‘Years ago we started doing a runner bean challenge which is based on I’m A Celebrity,’ she began.
‘It’s where we pretend we are doing an eating trial but actually, we are eating our vegetables really fast.
‘Challenges like this find a way of becoming part of the family dynamic and I can’t wait to do this.’
We think you’ll be eating far worse in the I’m A Celeb Bushtucker trials Giovanna…
The podcaster went on to add that when she got asked to do the show, it was a ‘no brainer’.
She continued: ‘As soon as I got the call asking if I would take part, it was a no brainer for me as I am such a fan.
‘It’s going to be so weird when I arrive, as it will be like stepping inside my TV!
‘I’m A Celebrity is such feel-good television and I can’t wait to take on the trials and be part of the camp.’
It comes after Giovanna’s pop star husband Tom Fletcher assured fans he’ll be fine taking care of their three children while his wife takes part in the show.
When asked he would ‘cope’ by a fan on Twitter, the McFly star replied: ‘Don’t worry about me. I got things under control while [Giovanna] is in [I’m a Celeb].’
Giovanna is joining up with nine other stars in the camp this week after the full line-up was revealed on Sunday’s I’m a Celebrity… A Jungle Story.
The bestselling author will be joined by the likes of Sir Mo Farah, Vernon Kay, Beverley Callard and Shane Ritchie on this year’s show.
I’m A Celebrity starts November 15 at 9pm on ITV.
