I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star Hollie Arnold has insisted tensions in camp are ‘normal’ after Shane Richie and AJ Pritchard were seen clashing.

Things got tense between the pair when Strictly pro AJ made a dig at former EastEnders star Shane’s washing up skills.

In an episode this week, AJ, 26, was asked to start cleaning the pots and pans around camp – which is normally Shane’s job.

Mucking in with the chores, he joked that they all looked a lot cleaner after he’d had a go at them, with fans later claiming AJ had been giving Shane, 56, some serious ‘side-eye’.

However, Hollie, 26, insisted there was no real drama, aside from people getting ‘irritated, hungry, and tired.’

‘I don’t think I saw any tensions, I’m looking forward to watching it back,’ she explained to Metro.co.uk. ‘The boys, they just want to be the main man of the camp but, generally, everyone got on so well.

‘Everybody was respectful and helpful and chipped in and I didn’t feel like there were any major weird vibes. Of course, there’s going to be some sort of tension but, for me, I never really felt that.

‘I loved every single minute of it, even eating the beans round the campfire!’

‘If there is a tiny bit of tension, it’s normal,’ she added. ‘Everybody gets irritated and hungry and tired. Honestly, it was the best camp I could have been in, and I love those 11 people.’

So sweet!

Hollie became the first celebrity to be voted out of the castle, ahead of the final on Friday.

While she’s loved her time in camp, she revealed she was left ‘quite upset’ by comments online after she introduced herself as ‘Hollie Arnold MBE’.

‘I’m quite upset really about the comments [on Twitter],’ she said. ‘I never, ever want to come across as, “Oh look at me, I’m Hollie Arnold MBE.”

‘The thought process behind that was my mum has constantly told me it’s such an honour and I’m so humbled, to be able to get that, it’s incredible.’

Athlete Hollie recalled the moment the celebs introduced themselves, explaining: ‘In the back of my head it was like, “You need to say MBE.” When I said it, I thought nothing of it.

Mo Farah is Sir Mo Farah and he actually said that, but I think because Shane [Richie] was talking on the walkie talkie, you couldn’t hear it.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues nightly at 9pm on ITV.
