I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! runner up Jordan North went to his ‘happy place’ after receiving a special message from Burnley’s football manager.
During today’s instalment of, I’m A Celebrity… Daily Drop, host Vick Hope surprised the 30-year-old with a personal video message from Sean Dyche.
The video began with Sean congratulating the Radio 1 DJ as he told him: ‘Hey Jordan, gaffer here, just to say hello and well done.
‘I think you’ve been terrific on the show, happy place Turf Moor by the way, there’s a bit of work to be done to make it a happy place at the moment, could do with a result or two.
‘You’ve been terrific on the show, my daughter Alicia has kept me up to speed when I’ve missed stuff.’
Sean went on to invite football fan Jordan to the stadium, as he added: ‘I’ll look forward to seeing you when we get you into Turf Moor eventually.
‘And beyond all of that, I think the work you’ve done behind the scenes that people may or may not know, is raising money for Pendleside Hospice and also the Burley FC foodbank, which is tremendous.’
‘I believe it’s over £20k now, so fantastic, well done can’t wait to see you mate, look forward to it,’ he continued.
He may have mentioned it once or twice…
After watching the clip, a stunned Jordan replied: ‘Sean Dyche called me mate! That feels great. That just means the world to me. That’s a great gift. I love that guy.’
Jordan came second in the ITV series after author Giovanna Fletcher was crowned the 2020 winner.
While TV host Vernon Kay came third.
Speaking about his time in the castle, the DJ added: ‘I’m really proud of myself. It’s over the past couple of days I’ve been able to give myself a bit of credit and think, maybe I am a bit brave and maybe I am a bit stronger than I think.
‘The journey I came on. I was scared of everything. Now, I feel like I can take – not everything – but more things.’
