LadBaby has cleared up the rumours about appearing on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here 2020 once and for all.
We’re sorry folks – it’s not happening.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk as he stars in Walkers’ Christmas advert along with his wife and partner in crime Roxanne, he insisted: ‘I don’t know where the rumours have come from!’
The YouTuber – real name Mark Hoyle – added: ‘No one’s phoned me. Clearly I’m not in Wales! So it’s not happening, I’m not doing it.
‘But I’d love to do it, if they ever wanted me, I’d be up for it, but they haven’t phoned yet.’
However, Strictly is a slightly less appealing prospect for the star, with Roxanne laughing: ‘What, Snake Hips Mark?!’
‘I mean, judging from the response to some of my TikToks, when I bust a few moves, I don’t know that I would necessarily last long on Strictly,’ he admitted.
‘I’ll go out and do a little Samba!’ Roxanne offered – and that, we might need to see.
Since Mark won’t be spending the festive season at Gwrych Castle for I’m A Celeb, you’d be forgiven for thinking he might have other plans in mind – namely, a third Christmas number one.
After all, he has spent his last two Christmases beating music legends including Stormzy and Ariana Grande to the top spot, and we can imagine it gets a little addictive.
‘I don’t know,’ Mark answered. ‘We always say every year if we can do a better job than the year before and if there’s a way of making more money, then we’ll try.
‘And – I don’t know. Does the Great British public need it?’ he asked, explaining that it’s still ‘TBC’ as to whether he’ll go ahead with another one.
However, the pair have got plenty of dream collaborations in mind, especially fellow sausage roll-lover Lewis Capaldi.
‘It was us going against Stormzy, I think it’d be great to get him onboard,’ Mark added, with Roxanne pointing out: ‘And he stands for such great things.’
Meanwhile, the couple are certainly keeping themselves busy after following in Mariah Carey’s footsteps to star in Walkers’ Christmas advert.
To fit in with their love for sausage rolls, Walkers have also launched limited edition ‘The Power Of The Sausage Roll’ crisps, with 5p from every bag going to the Trussell Trust.
‘It’s amazing isn’t it?’ Mark reflected. ‘Mariah Carey last year, now us. My face is on a [crisp] bag! And it’s helping raise money for the Trussell Trust as well. It’s like, this is perfect.’
‘It’s about getting these crisps tasted by as many people as possible, hoping everyone loves them, and then trying to raise as much money as we can for the charity,’ he continued.
‘So many people are affected this Christmas and we’ve got to try and help,’ Mark added.
Roxanne pointed out: ‘It just shouldn’t really exist in the UK. There shouldn’t be people living off of food banks, so we’re very proud to be ambassadors of the Trussell Trust and to raise more awareness.’
