I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left feeling jealous after Tuesday episode because the campmates enjoyed a night at the pub – and well, we can’t because of lockdown.
The remaining contestants were greeted with a pub table, chairs and pub grub, which consisted of pie, mash and peas.
They even enjoyed a bit of karaoke too, where we saw Shane Richie belt out his rendition of A Town Called Malice by The Jam.
Talking in the Telegraph, an excited Jordan explained: ‘Oh my god, what a beautiful Christmassy sight, tinsel up, chairs out, a bar, Christmas trees, Christmas decs and most importantly there was pies and peas….pies and peas.’
Naturally, the scenes at hand got viewers a tad jealous.
Taking to Twitter to voice their envy, one viewer commented: ‘Never been so jealous of the campmates on Celeb. Pub grub and drinks?! Better then the rest of the UK right now.’
While another said: ‘Why did they go pub before us? Am really jealous.’
One added: ‘Just want to be singing and dancing around a Christmas tree with my pals in a crowded pub like the I’m A Celeb lot.’
The national coronavirus restrictions will be lifted at exactly 0.01am on Wednesday – meaning from that time onwards England will be plunged back into the tier system.
Pubs and restaurants will be allowed to reopen under tiers one and two, but under tier three must remain closed except for takeaway, drive-through and delivery only.
Also under tier two pubs and bars must close unless they are serving a ‘substantial meal’ for breakfast, lunch or dinner alongside drinks.
No matter what tier pubs and restaurants are in, they have an 11pm curfew. That time is a hard close with last orders at 10pm, giving people an extra hour to socialise from the previous 10pm curfew
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
