I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has been a real hit with viewers since it returned to our screens earlier this month – but one super-fan has taken his love for the show a step further.
Phil Norval, who lives in Wales was overjoyed when he discovered the series was swapping the Australian jungle for the Welsh countryside this year.
The 47-year-old wanted to mark the occasion in a special way, so he decided to get his tattoo artist nephew to ink Gwrych Castle along with hosts Ant and Dec on his leg.
Phil has several tattoos including E.T, the Lion King and Finding Nemo, although he admitted that his latest piece of art was his ‘most random one yet’.
The tattoo, which took between two to three hours to do, was created by Phil’s nephew Michael James Norval, who works at New Skin Tattoo Studio in Abergele.
Speaking about his decision to have the ink done, Phil began: ‘I’ve always been a big fan of Ant and Dec and I love all their shows so I was really excited to hear I’m a Celebrity was coming to North Wales.
‘I thought I may as well get a tattoo to mark the occasion as it might never happen again.’
After thinking about having the tattoo done, Phil asked his nephew about it and he then came up with the unique design.
‘I had it done on the back of my leg, it was probably one of the most painful ones in the middle of my thigh,’ he added to the Daily Post.
We bet Ant and Dec will be flattered Phil.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
