I’m A Celebrity 2020: Viewers baffled after Kiosk Cledwyn pops up in Tesco Christmas advert

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers couldn’t believe their eyes after Kiosk Cledwyn appeared in Tesco’s Christmas advert.

Yes, seriously.

During the ad break from Sunday night’s instalment, eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot Cledwyn in the festive commercial.

The short clip, showed I’m A Celeb’s new addition, looking his usual stern self as he sat in front of a platter.

In the Christmas advert, a voice-over told Kiosk Cledwyn that this year it was OK if he was naughty.

‘Ah ha, Kiosk Cledwyn. Feeling guilty for giving the campmates such teeny tiny portions?” the voice-over began.

‘Well, after this year, Tesco says there is no naughty list. So you can treat yourself.’

Cledwyn can then be seen lifting the dish cover to reveal a tray of party food.

‘Bet you love party food, well apart from the pasty bit,’ the voice over added.

Taking to Twitter after spotting Cledwyn, stunned viewers couldn’t help but comment on his surprise appearance in the ad.

One tweeted: ‘Kiosk Cledwyn is now doing ads for Tesco!?’

While another said: ‘Awk Cledwyn has only gone and got himself an ad deal with Tesco, good on ya.’

One added: ‘Cledwyn Tesco advert?’

I’m A Celeb had to make a few changes this year, and that included replacing Kiosk Kev with Kiosk Cledwyn because of Covid-19 travel restrictions.

Each day, he is on hand to task the campmates with a series of questions, so they can win treats as part of the Castle Coin challenges.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
