Radio One DJ Jordan North has had one hell of a week on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here – and now he’s been declared camp leader.
The 30-year-old started off the show as a nervous wreck, and after throwing up within minutes of arriving, practically nominated himself in the public eye for bushtucker trials.
However, he has fully managed to smash it – and he’s gone from a relative unknown to a firm favourite to win.
This was proven on Sunday night’s episode when viewers, who just days before had been laughing at his misery, nominated him to be the first camp leader of the Gwrych Castle, Wales.
Even Jordan was a bit shocked, and told the Telegraph after: ‘I’ve got to remember the public have voted for me, they either thought this will be a laugh, he can’t even tie his shoe laces or they thought let’s see how he is in charge.
‘Or maybe the Great British public has faith in me and think I can do it.’
One of his first decrees? Having a nap.
I’m A Celeb viewers couldn’t help but cheer him on and praise him for his (maybe a little bit baffling) new role
Recruiting Victoria Derbyshire as his second in command, Jordan got to work on giving everyone jobs.
Giovanna and Mo are now the chefs, AJ and Hollie are in charge of maintenance, Russell and Jessica are the cleaners, Beverley and Vernon are in charge of laundry, and Ruthie and Shane are the washers.
It seems that Jordan’s time as the go-to- guy for trial votes is officially over – but that isn’t great news for Jessica and AJ.
They’ve now been chosen for the latest task.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
