During last night’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! the campmates decided to discuss the most embarrassing moments of their careers – and it’s safe to say Jordon North’s must be one of the worst.
Actress Ruthie Henshall recalled running off stage and projectile vomiting half-way through a performance.
While journalist Victoria Derbyshire said the worst day in her job, is when she famously mispronounced Jeremy Hunt’s name live on air.
When it came to Jordan’s turn, he remembered the horror he felt when he accidentally blurted out Yungblud’s ex-girlfriend’s name to his face just after their breakup (when he was told by a lot of people beforehand not to).
Luckily for the Radio 1 DJ, that moment never made it to air at the time, but that didn’t stop his colleagues releasing it on Twitter for the whole world to see.
The clip has now resurfaced on social media, and well, we can’t stop watching it.
Speaking to Greg James about the moment in March, Jordan explained: ‘This was about six months ago and we recorded it before we went on air and it’s been doing the rounds on radio 1 for the past six months.’
‘This is the think we take the Mickey out of you for,’ Greg chipped in. ‘It’s around the building everyone knows about it, but it’s never been played on air.’
‘It never made it to air, it was six months ago when I was covering for Scott Mills with Chris Stark, I interviewed Yungblud’ Jordan continued.
‘I am nervous just thinking about it and Yungblud that week had split up with Halsey and before the interview happened one of his people went “Don’t mention the Halsey thing” and I went “Yep, he’s entitled to his private life, fine”.
‘Again just as we went into the studio somebody else said “Don’t mention the Halsey thing” and I went “Yes, I won’t mention the Halsey thing”.
Before the interview had even begun, Jordan explained that his producer even came over to warn him about the ‘Halsey thing’.
However, much to Jordan’s horror during his chat with the singer, he did in fact, mention the Halsey thing…
In the clip, we can see Jordan chatting away on his show as he said: ‘We will get another track on and then we’ll have another chat with Halsey’.
Luckily for Jordan, Yungblud did see the funny side of it.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
