I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! producers have reportedly gifted the contestants with hand warmers, to help get them through current brutal weather conditions.
The ITV show finally returned to the screen on Tuesday evening, after being cancelled for three days due to technical difficulties following Storm Arwen.
It hasn’t been an easy ride for the celebrities, as they’ve had to endure some pretty fierce winds, however, bosses are said to have gifted them with a few luxuries to help ease the pain.
Production staff have apparently been asked to find quick-heating ‘beanbags’ to keep them warm, which will be hidden in hessian sacks, so they can blend into the castle background.
It is said that contestants, Dame Arlene Phillips and Louise Minchin, are more likely to take advantage of the luxuries provided.
A source told The Sun: ‘Bosses know this is a programme where there’s an expectation from the viewers that the celebs aren’t in a holiday camp.
‘But equally have a duty of care to them, particularly the older, more vulnerable contestants.
‘Not everyone will choose to use a heater, but they are there if they are wanted.’
The former Strictly Come Dancing judge came close to quitting the series after struggling to adjust to life in the dreaded Clink.
At the start of Tuesday’s long-awaited episode, presenters Ant and Dec addressed that the stars were ‘evacuated’ over the weekend, with no access to phones or the internet.
Dec later praised the heroic team who had worked ‘around the clock’ to get the show back on air.
Last night’s chapter also saw Naughty Boy involved in a heated exchange with Kadeena Cox while preparing dinner, with the DJ telling the Paralympian to ‘chill.’
He added to Snoochie Shy: ‘I’ve never cut oxtail. Before I’ve even got into it Kadeena’s telling me, “Naughty you need to…”‘
Kadeena said: ‘If he’s going to moan about it, just say it to me. I was just trying to help.’
