Soap star Danny Miller smashed his retch-heavy trial during Monday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
On the menu were cow teats, pig brain and fermented catfish during the first eating challenge of the series.
The Dreaded Diner task saw the Emmerdale actor, who was the first celebrity put up for a challenge by the public vote, face radio DJ Snoochie Shy and win a meal for his team in The Clink.
Danny is currently enduring tougher conditions in the cells below Gwrych Castle, with basic facilities and limited rations, alongside yellow team campmates Richard Madeley, Dame Arlene Phillips, Naughty Boy and David Ginola – who is emerging as quite the camp heartthrob.
Over five rounds, Danny and Snoochie battled their way through consuming dishes with titles such as Grot Dog, Sneeze Burger (her least favourite, if the screams are anything to go by) and Savel-Eye and Chips.
The two were also faced with spinning a wheel to see if they would have to upgrade their dishes to a ‘meal deal’.
While Danny managed to eat his goat’s testicle solo, Snoochie was unlucky and forced to have a Vomit Fruit Bag (vomit fruit) and Flat Fright (blended pig’s uterus).
The two managed to complete all their eating challenges and gather five stars each, meaning it all came down to a tie-break.
Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly explained they would be drinking a Van Hella milkshake of blended fermented tofu and the first person to down the drink would win.
Danny just pipped Snoochie to the post and returned to The Clink triumphant.
Richard Madeley remarked: ‘I don’t think I’ve seen anyone’s face – in recent memory – looking so utterly happy. Utterly pleased. Not with himself, but with the outcome.’
Earlier in the episode, Arlene and Richard from The Clink faced Louise Minchin and Matty Lee from the main castle in the Don’t Blow It challenge, answering questions about their co-stars for a cake to take back to their team.
After a tense tie-break, The Clink emerged as the winners.
Minchin said: ‘We would have loved that cake – but I’m really happy they got the cake.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns tomorrow at 9:15pm on ITV.
