I’m A Celebrity 2021: Naughty Boy quivers with fear as he takes on Gruesome Gargoyles trial with Matty Lee

He might have already had his fair share of Bushtucker Trials on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2021, but it doesn’t seem like Naughty Boy is getting used to them anytime soon.

In a preview for tonight’s episode of the ITV show, the music producer faces the Gruesome Gargoyles trial with Olympic gold medal winner Matty Lee, with the pair teaming up to try and win as many stars for camp as possible.

In the short clip, Ant and Dec announce that they have just 30 seconds left in the first tunnel, as Matty, 23, rushes to untie a star from a rope hanging inside the small space.

As something falls down on the diver from above, the camera switches to Naughty, 40, who’s outside the tunnels placing his arm through mysterious holes in the wall.

Ant and Dec urge him to move onto the next hole – but he hesitates, looking back at them and shaking his head with anguish over the task at hand.

‘Get your arm in!’ Ant shouts, as Naughty quivers with fear.

However, he manages to muster up enough courage to do so, placing his arm through the hole with just 15 seconds to go in this stage of the challenge.

Some sort of creature can be heart shrieking in the background as the preview comes to an end.

So will Matty and Naughty prove to be a dream team, or could they fall at the final hurdle?

On last night’s episode, Loose Women star Frankie Bridge burst into tears after taking part in a brutal trial with Naughty, which saw her down disgusting drinks made from ingredients including fermented eggs and pigs anus.

After she finished the trial, The Saturdays singer admitted that she felt ‘like an idiot’, adding: ‘I’ll be honest, I wanted to quit after the third drink.’

However, witnessing Naughty succeeding in previous trials gave her the motivation to keep going, as she said: ‘That’s what we came on here for, to push ourselves to do things.’

Former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin remarked that she would have rather made do with rice and beans than see Frankie so upset, as she also received support from the other celebrities in camp.

I’m A Celebrity returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
