I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Snoochie Shy lets out bloodcurdling screams as she attempts the Treacherous Traps in tonight’s trial.
After losing out to Emmerdale’s Danny Miller in the first eating trial of the series on Monday night, the radio DJ has been voted to face yet another grueling task.
This time around, Snoochie is locked into an underground tunnel with a bunch of rats and other creepy crawlies.
In a teaser clip ahead of this evening’s chapter, the 29-year-old lets out a panicked warble shortly after the warden closes the trap.
‘Very best of luck,’ Dec then tells her. ‘You can start when you hear the klaxon.’
But immediately after the klaxon sounds, Snoochie lets out a piercing shriek as she attempts to reach her hand out towards the star.
‘I’ve not even gone inside yet,’ she shouts, before screeching again.
‘She’s obviously talking her way through it,’ Dec mutters to Ant in amusement.
‘I just dropped it!’ Snoochie carries on, before yelping: ‘He’s licking me! What is that? Where’s the star? Where’s the star?’
Yep, it looks like we’re in a for a right treat while Snoochie faces her fears. But will she be able to win a meal for her team this time around?
Last night, soap star Danny devoured cow teats, pig brain and fermented catfish in the Dreaded Diner task.
The contestants are currently split into two groups, with half living in the castle and the other in the cells below, with basic facilities and limited rations.
Over five rounds, Snoochie and Danny consumed dishes with titles such as Grot Dog, Sneeze Burger and Savel-Eye and Chips before arriving at a tie-break.
Ant and Dec explained they would be drinking a Van Hella milkshake of blended fermented tofu and the first person to down the drink would win.
Danny was quickest and returned to The Clink triumphant.
Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley remarked: ‘I don’t think I’ve seen anyone’s face – in recent memory – looking so utterly happy. Utterly pleased. Not with himself, but with the outcome.’
Earlier in the episode, Dame Arlene Phillips and Richard from The Clink faced Louise Minchin and Matty Lee from the main castle in the Don’t Blow It challenge, answering questions about their co-stars for a cake to take back to their team.
After a tense tie-break, The Clink emerged as the winners.
‘We would have loved that cake – but I’m really happy they got the cake,’ Louise said.
The group in the castle also discovered the contestants in The Clink had to act as their servants, doing their washing up and chopping their wood.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs tonight at 9.15pm on ITV.
