Jordan Banjo is enjoying the addition of a new family member with the birth of his third kid.
The Diversity and I’m A Celebrity… South Africa contestant shared the news on Instagram with a precious snapshot and a lovely video montage depicting the moments before and after the baby was born.
Sharing a picture of his wife Naomi Banjo holding their youngest son, the 30-year-old wrote in his caption: ‘Atreus Funso Banjo 🖤 20.04.2023 8lb 8oz.
‘I’m so proud of you @naomibanjo, my angel, my wife and the most incredible mum to our children, thank you for our 3 beautiful children, a gift I can never repay, I love you ❤️.’
The couple already has two kids: a girl named Mayowa, sometimes known as Mimi, and a son named Cassius.
The song You Are My Sunshine played in the background of the video Jordan shared on social media, which showed the pair driving to the hospital.
Naomi grinned widely as she carried Atreus on her chest before revealing the infant to be donning a babygrow bearing a crown-themed logo.
Before the family of five stood for a group photo in front of an elaborate balloon display, the couple’s two older children appeared as though they were scarcely able to contain their enthusiasm as they greeted their baby brother.
Numerous famous people, like Fleur East, Laura Whitmore, and Mario Falcone, sent the Banjos congratulations.
One individual inquired as to the baby’s name when they saw the word “Acorn” on a display honouring the infant.
In response, Naomi explained: ‘No his name is Atreus 🤍 my friends did the display for us and have called him baby acorn since I told them I was pregnant so it was a personal gesture from then.’
Atreus is born a few days before I’m A Celebrity begins. Jordan is competing in the all-star series in South Africa after having previously competed on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016.

Jordan acknowledged that the atmosphere on the current series was occasionally “awkward” as performers plotted against one another during a recent interview on The One Show with Carol Vorderman.
‘You’ll be sat there, eating your rice and beans like, “I couldn’t survive in here without you, Carol”, then you walk off like, “I’m gonna absolutely smash her in tomorrow’s trial, gonna take her out!”‘ he confessed.
Carol added: ‘It’s quite a different set-up. The trials really are brutal, quite honestly.
‘To get rid of people, it was all head-to-head trials, so competitive!’’To get rid of people, it was all head-to-head trials, so competitive!’
