I’m A Celebrity Australia’s Toni Pearen bitten seven times by snakes in toe-curling trial

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Toni Pearen was bitten seven times by snakes during a horrific trial in the Australian version of the show.

During the latest episode, the 48-year-old actress confronted her fears as several jungle carpet pythons repeatedly pounced at her face as she placed her head inside a box.

‘Oh s**t! Far out! Oh my god, I hate snakes,’ Toni exclaimed as she the animals hissed and struck at her.

Presenters Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown watched with their jaws dropped as Toni was repeatedly attacked by the creatures.

Julia reminded Toni that she could call out the famous phrase at any time to immediately end the challenge, but the star persisted.

‘No, no, no, no!’ Toni wailed, stating she’d continue in her attempts to see off the task.

Audiences were seriously impressed that Toni kept going with the trial despite the nightmare-inducing situation.

‘Well done @tonipearen…you’re so brave to even have stayed in there after the first bite, let alone brunting all seven,’ wrote one on Twitter.

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘Channel 10 should give Toni endless day spa access for the rest of her life! Toni you are incredible.’

Some viewers, however, questioned why Toni wasn’t removed from the box.
