I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers believe Nigel Farage’s letter from home included a secret message.
The GB News anchor, 59, and controversial signing for this series, received his letter from his loved ones and fellow campmates on Sunday night after the stars won all ten.
As usual, the letter reading produced some very emotional situations, with campmates breaking down in tears after receiving encouraging messages from their spouses, children, and friends.
However, one incident that piqued viewers’ interest was when Farage’s children stated something pretty ambiguous.
The former UKIP leader is the father of four children. He has two children, Thomas and Samuel, with his first wife, Gráinne Hayes, and Victoria and Isabelle with his second wife, Kirsten Mehr.
Josie Gibson read Farage’s letter from his kids, which said: ‘To Dad, you’ve achieved so much over the years but nothing has made us prouder than showing people who you really are.
‘Why are we not shocked at you effortlessly sinking those dirty pints?’
In a seemingly covert message, the foursome also said: ‘You will be pleased to hear the boat is afloat and everything’s running smoothly.’
Viewers turned to X, previously Twitter, after noticing the unusual word choice.
One person wrote: ‘”boat is afloat” sounds like some sort of secret code in Farage’s letter’.
‘Farage’s “kids” giving him a covert message: the boat is afloat and everything’s running smoothly. Aww, how heart-warming’, another penned sarcastically, implying the letter was not actually from Farage’s children.
Other viewers were startled at how moved they were after hearing Josie read Farage’s letter.
One viewer said: ‘probably going to get me hate from some, but sometimes you forget nigel is just a regular guy and a loved one to his family. something about hearing his letter moved me a bit, as much as I disagree with a lot of his politics’.
‘Nigel’s letter was cute though’, said another.
Farage returned the courtesy by reading Josie’s letter to her, which was written by her son, Reggie.
It said: ‘Hello mummy, I hope you are having the best time in the jungle, I have been watching you at home with daddy.
‘The snakes and spiders look scary mummy, but you are doing a good job. I love you and miss you.’
Following his release from the jungle, Farage, who is being paid a stunning £1.5 million for his time, will be greeted by his children on the famed bridge.
His daughter Isabelle has already been photographed at the airport with other campmates’ families on their way to Australia.
It comes after Farage’s secret girlfriend, 44-year-old Laure Ferrari, acknowledged her relationship with the politician.
