Richard Madeley has joined the line-up of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, and to say we’re excited is a total understatement.

The Good Morning Britain presenter will be jetting to Gwrych Castle, in Wales, alongside David Ginola, Frankie Bridge and Louise Minchin.

The 65-year-old admitted that he has been asked to do the show for years before he eventually agreed to get on board.

Richard is in the best position as some of his closest friends and family have already taken part on the show.

In fact, son-in-law James Haskell jetted out to Australia for a jungle stint, alongside GMB star Kate Garraway.

Who is Richard Madeley’s son-in-law?

Richard and wife Judy Finnigan’s daughter Chloe Madeley is married to rugby ace James Haskell, with the pair tying the knot in 2018.

The 36-year-old kicked off his rugby career at Wasps when he was 18, quickly becoming a regular fixture on the team before joining Stade Francais at the end of the 2008-09 season.

He later rejoined Wasps, and following a stint at the Northampton Saints, James eventually announced his retirement from professional rugby in 2018.

The athlete started dating Chloe in 2014, with the couple saying their vows four years later.

James was in the line-up of I’m A Celebrity in 2019 and was among the last group of contestants to head to Australia before the coronavirus pandemic hit.

He appeared alongside Myles Stephenson, Ian Wright, Roman Kemp and Nadine Coyle.

However, he has his fair share of drama in the jungle and was seen having spats with Caitlyn Jenner, Kate Garraway and hosts Ant and Dec.

James became the fourth contestant voted out, with Jacqueline Jossa going on to win the competition.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns on November 21, on ITV.
