Danny Miller has revealed he is currently isolating after his fiancée Steph Jones ‘caught Covid’ in the week after they were finally reunited.
The Emmerdale actor, 30, took to his Instagram story to update fans on how he is doing after leaving I’m A Celebrity as King of the Castle to reunite with Steph and their baby son Albert.
He revealed: ‘So after 23 days of not being able to see or speak to Steph and Albert, which was the hardest time of my life, we now have the perfect opportunity to catch up with one another as we begin isolation.
‘Because Steph has unfortunately bless her caught Covid. She’s not feeling the best today so she’s just gone down for a sleep while Albert’s asleep, so I though I’d amuse myself by catching up with you guys.’
Danny continued: ‘Don’t worry about us, we’re all good and you know, if you don’t laugh about these things you’re going to cry, aren’t you?
‘What’s that? I’ve done enough of that over that three weeks? Yeah, cheers!’
The actor had asked fans to send him in questions, and while he answered some of them, he promised to revisit the rest in the coming days.
Danny added: ‘A common question was “When are you getting your hair cut?” Obviously, there was a few things that I’ve had to cancel. There was a coming home party that I’ve had to cancel.
‘I had to cancel my haircut and I was going shopping to get a few bits and bobs because I lost a little bit of weight. So all of that’s on hold until Christmas Eve when we’re out of isolation.’
Danny had beaten fellow finalists, Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson and former The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge to be crowned winner of this year’s I’m A Celebrity, which was once again held in Wales due to the ongoing pandemic.
